USA Onshore Gulf Coast - Production

A high margin operation with growth from exploration, in one of the world's best places to find and market gas.

Strike Energy holds a Working Interest in ten wells in the US onshore Gulf Coast region which delivered 3.33 Bcf of gas and 82,000 barrels of oil condensate in the year 30 June 2009.

Production continues in 2010 from ten wells in Texas, with the potential to increase this production through success in the exploration drilling programs which have outlined targets with 200 Bcf gas potential to Strike Energy. In February 2010 Strike Energy achieved its third discovery from a total of five exploration wells drilled to date (ie a 60% exploration success rate) with the Gardner Duncan 1 well. Final hydrocarbon volumes are still being assessed from this well, which is regarded as having the potential to double the company's oil and gas reserve base.

Strike Energy's operations within the USA are administered and operated by its partner with which it has operated over a long period of time. Through this relationship the benefits of highly specialised local knowledge have delivered both discoveries and high margin production.
