This year Strike Energy has began a unique onshore interesting exploration program concerning 2 methodologies. In Texas, Strike Energy and its associates in the Eaglewood Joint venture are actually utilizing an onging exploration drilling program on prospects which lie upon exactly the same development as the Rayburn and Mesquite producing fields. A lot of these prospects are similar in nature to the Rayburn and Mesquite findings being positioned in the prolific Wilcox Formation. Most of these prospects will have prospective resource potential in the order of 50 to 100 Bcf. Strike Energy has a 30% Working Interest in these prospects.

In the USA, the Company currently produces from its interest in two fields in Texas and is undertaking an ongoing exploration program to expand this successful position. In February 2010 Strike Energy achieved its third discovery from a total of five exploration wells drilled to date (ie a 60% exploration success rate) with the Gardner Duncan 1 well. Final hydrocarbon volumes are still being assessed from this well, which is regarded as having the potential to double the company's oil and gas reserve base.

Strike Energy keeps a Working Interest in ten wells the united states onshore Gulf Coast area that provided 3.33 Bcf of gas and 82,000 barrels of oil condensate in the year 30 June 2009.

Production goes on in 2010 from ten wells in Texas, with the potential to raise this production through accomplishment in the exploration drilling programs that have outlined targets with 200 Bcf gas potential to Strike Energy.
